Our client, a leading International Insurance firm is looking to hire a Customer Service/ Claims Officer who will be responsible for: 

  • Delivering excellent and quality Customer to existing and potential clients (internal / external).
  • Receiving and respond to customer enquirers (walk-in, telephone, email etc.) in a timely manner according to approved Turn-Around Times- TATs).
  • Ensuring conversation of policies through professional advice and conduct
  • Liaising with other departments to support in the timely delivery of services to clients 
  • Providing professional services to clients (upselling, new products introduction, referrals, etc.) 
  • Compiling daily/weekly/monthly reports as per Standard Operating Procedures of the Department 
  • Undertaking any other duties that may be assigned by Supervisor 


Requirements

The Ideal Candidate must meet the following requirement:

  • First Degree in any relevant field from a recognized University 
  • At least 1 year post national service experience in a customer focused environment 
  • Effective Communication Skills, both verbal and written
  • Must be friendly, welcoming, and always have a pleasant disposition  
  • Must be emotionally intelligent
  • Good interpersonal skills and must be well organized
  • Good analytical skills for decision making
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Must always be self-motivated and have a passion for service delivery 
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Good organizational skills  and IT Skills  
  • Effectiveness and efficiency in delivering assigned task
  • Business communication skills– verbal and written
