Our Client, a leading International Insurance firm is currently looking to fill the position of a Head, Business Technology Solutions.

The successful candidate  will carry out the following responsibilities:

  • Champion the adoption of digital solutions to drive customer experience and growth 
  • Take proactive steps and collaborate with Group CIO in engaging business leaders to formulate strategy and to execute strategic initiatives
  • Provide leadership in technology selection for business enablement and innovation
  • Manage technology project implementations to meet cost, scope and time constraints
  • Develop KPIs and SLAs to guide delivery of stakeholders’ requirements
  • Collaborate with Group CIO to develop governance of internal IT operations to drive attainment of SLAs in Nigeria
  • Define the firm's architecture in conjunction with current and future requirements of the organisation.
  • Enable process efficiency of back office operations.
  • Drive innovation for front office and core business operations by recommending and driving implementation of viable technologies.
  • Identify key skills and talent gaps and work to recruit, train and retain talent.
  • Identify and manage external vendors in the delivery of contracted work. 



Requirements

The Ideal candidate must have:

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in managing information technology and or a digital solutions team
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technology discipline
  • A post-graduate qualification in business related course is desirable.
  • Experience in implementation of Digital solutions highly desirable
  • Experience in hiring, managing and retaining a team of talented technology professionals
  • Demonstrable experience in negotiating with business leaders to drive effectiveness of the IT department
  • PMP, ITIL, COBIT, SCRUM certification desirable
