Our client, a new Non-Interest Bank setting up in Nigeria is looking to hire a  Head Channels and Automation Management who will be responsible for following functions:

  • Co-ordinate the development and implementation of all projects and key activities in Channels/Automation (Start-up, Sign-off, etc)
  • Ensure proactive support, monitoring, administration, and enhancement of eChannels, ePayments, TPP applications and bespoke solutions for stability and optimal performance.
  • Supervise Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): functional analysis, systems design/development, integration and testing
  • Supervise and sign-off the conversion of functional requirements into solution architecture, design and algorithms that will be used to develop program codes
  • Supervise ATM/POS monitoring, deployment and support
  • Supervise FEP/Channels integration, WEB/Mobile and other TPP solutions
  • Prioritize every project, tasks and issues in Channels & Automation
  • Facilitate research and development within the department
  • Be the point of contact with the business units/teams, vendors, and back-office teams
  • Supervise the liaison with business unit/persons to capture solutions or product specifications and supervise the translation into clearly documented user or functional requirements for team members.
  • Provide the interface and infrastructure support for eBusiness products/services – ATMs, Cards, eBanking, mBanking platforms
  • Manage business demands, analyze business requirements and maintain relationship with business users
  • Constantly review eChannels, ePayments and bespoke solutions with a view to suggesting areas of improvement
  • Develop systems architecture for all areas of Channels and Automation
  • Co-ordinate the preparation and review of user manual, process manual, and technical Documentation of all functional areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Head, Information & Communication Technology (ICT)

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate must meet the following requirement:

  • Experienced in Integration with Third party processors
  • Strong ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
  • Experience of working in an ISO 27001 and ISO 8583 certified environment.
  • Experience with Hardware Security Modules (HSM) and its management of digital keys, encryption and decryption functions for digital signatures cryptographic functions.
  • Possess in-depth technical knowledge in one or more areas related to Banking systems (Temenos T24 preferred), Hyper Converged Infrastructure, and Java.net based applications.
  • Experienced in navigating and troubleshooting operating systems.
  • Strong customer facing & presentation skills as well as having a proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in project leadership and management.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to express thought clearly.
  • The ability to work under pressure on multiple projects within project timeframes
  • A passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to change
  • Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach
  • Experience with banking systems and digital banking platforms, along with knowledge of Fintech integration.
  • Experience with Embedded systems, web technologies, digital payments and online banking
  • Must have basic knowledge of software integrated development environments (IDEs) using C, C++, Dotnet, Phyton and JAVA to build, code, debug and optimize applications.
  • Experience with UX/UI designs
  • Experience collaborating with key resources and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to convert and execute successfully tactical plans from strategic visions.
