Workforce Group is sourcing for an Associate in Investment Banking. The Associate would primarily be responsible for business development, acquiring new clients, fundraising and also managing existing relationships. The individual will also be an advisor to clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Build and deepen relationships by providing a high-quality client experience in all interactions
- Acquire new businesses/clients
- Obtain and review clients’ investment goals, time horizons and tolerance for market volatility
- Serve as a primary liaison between client and portfolio management team
- With the support of a Financial Planning Associate: Produce, present and review/update financial plans
designed to help clients achieve their goals - Formulate, review and update Investment Policy
Statements - Client Meetings: prepare for, hold and execute on all
follow-up items - Execute on Client V.I.P. (Vision Map, Financial Plan, CAP,
Advisory Team, Relationship Review) - Coach and mentor teammates, help establish priorities and ensure the quality of others’ work
- Earn/ask for introductions to new clients by focusing on the relationship and being of uncommon value
Requirements
- Work experience: A minimum of 5 years providing advisory services in a client-facing role, especially in investments/finance roles.
- Bachelor's degree
- Highly proficient in MS Office
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills (integrity, humility, respect, empathy)
- Ability to work independently but also be a proactive contributing team member
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on projects effectively
