Job Overview: The project manager will be responsible for managing multiple projects for the various lines of businesses within the group. This includes execution of strategic goals through projects, programmes and other initiatives. The ideal candidate for this role will display a high level of professionalism, diligence,a large appetite for knowledge, tenacity, resourceful, integrity, openness and the ability to  work within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Making or ensuring effective project planning; complete identification of project activities and work outputs, accurate  schedule and budget estimation, effective resource allocation, effective communication planning, effective identification & quantification of risks & mitigation strategies 

  • Ensuring an effective project execution through effective project tracking and monitoring of actual vs planned project activities enterprise wide           

  • Effective and accurate project reporting through the reporting of projects, programmes and portfolios progress and, effective escalation mechanisms when required

  • Identifying innovative ways to manage projects and carry out other tasks effectively with the use of technology or other means

  • Meeting project commitments, including communications with sponsors, and stakeholders



  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

  • Project management certification (PRINCE 2 OR CAPM) will be an added advantage.

  • Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in managing projects

  • Ability to develop and create new ideas, systems, and relationships for the success of the business unit

  • Ability to develop specific plans and goals to help in accomplishing tasks efficiently

  • Ability to manage issues and resolve disputes and conflicts

  • Ability to manage project schedules effectively to ensure projects are delivered on time

  • Ability to analyze data to derive useful information for decision making

  • Ability to encourage and build team spirit among project team members, bringing about mutual respect and cooperation to drive results

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate confidently with professionals from all levels of the corporate environment.

  • Superior organizational skills with strict attention to detail
